Many studies have indicated the strong place of faith commitment in the healing process. Although all disciplines seek to reflect spiritual sensitivity, at the UVa Health System, the spiritual component of healthcare, which is provided directly to patients, families and staff, is the responsibility of the Department of Chaplaincy Services and Pastoral Education. If you would like to support this work, you may make a tax deductible donation to the Chaplaincy Department for its continuous ministry to patients, families and staff. Other kinds of gifts are also needed and welcomed. The Chaplaincy Department has a number of ways in which you can help us continue to meet the spiritual needs of our patients.
