"Prayers for Decision-Making"
Gracious God, it’s time. It’s time to make the hard decisions. Sometimes I’m scared, sometimes I’m confused and sometimes I just don’t want to believe I have to make a decision. Help me to trust You. Give me strength and wisdom so that whatever happens honors my loved one and You. Thank You for hearing me and answering my prayer. Amen.
Lord, I come to You realizing that we need to decide what to do as soon as possible. I can’t take in everything. I need Your help in remembering what my loved on would want. Make the way clear, and if I falter, lift me up to say the word that brings healing and wholeness to us all. I ask in faith, believing in Your goodness. Amen.
Heavenly Father, bring peace and comfort to us all in this time of suffering. Let Your loving kindness guide our thoughts, decisions and care of one another. Let us bless one another as we bless You. Amen.
Dear God, you have been a mother to us and father to us. We come to you during this time of great struggle and testing asking for your divine strength and grace. We know you to be a sustainer, so we ask that you will sustain us and give us hope that we may endure these trying days. We ask for your guidance, that we may make the best decision for ourselves and our loved ones. And above all, of God we ask that you will supply us with an abundance of your love that we may do all things in love. Bless us and keep us. Amen. (Chaplain Mildred M. Best)
