The Global Public Health Society
The undergraduate Global Public Health Society at the University of Virginia aims to promote awareness and sponsor projects relating to public health on Grounds, in the Charlottesville community, and in the world at large. To accomplish this, we work with organizations in the public health field to help fulfill their needs through collaborative projects and provide services through which students can volunteer. We also aim to develop relationships between University faculty and students to encourage partnership in pursuit of this mission in the form of dialogue, research, and service. We are pleased to co-sponsor "Global Health in a Globalized World" and welcome all who are interested.
