Framework Program in Global Health at UVa
Initiated by a grant to UVa's Center for Global Health from the National Institutes of Health Fogarty International Center, the Framework Program coordinates the development of global health-related curricula at the University of Virginia.
To date, it has supported the development of the Global Public Health undergraduate minor and 12 new courses for undergraduate, graduate, and professional students in the Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Architecture, and Education, as well as the College of Arts and Sciences (see Curriculum section of CGH website: http://cgh.virginia.edu/).
In addition to sponsoring speakers and symposia, the Framework Program facilitates interaction and collaboration between UVa faculty addressing global health from within their various disciplines.
If you are a UVa faculty member or administrator who would like to get involved, please email Framework Program Director, Rebecca Dillingham (rd8v@virginia.edu).
