Globalization's Impact upon Health Disparities

Rapid globalization of the developing world can often impact the economics and health of a region and cause egregious globalization gaps (EGGs). The speaker will offer examples of how multinational activities can create health disparities, how globalization can exacerbate brain drain of health care workers from the developing world and how health professionals in the U.S. can partner with overseas colleagues to mitigate disparities.
