History
Although the research and intellectual property underlying the Company’sproducts have been in development since the late 1980's, AlGlutamine LLC officially began operations in 1999 following its capitalization and the licensing of its underlying technology from the University of Virginia.
The Company’s founders and board members consist of the lead scientists and doctors who conceived of and conducted the research responsible for the Company’s intellectual property as well as seasoned business leaders with prior experience in bio-technology and start-up organizations. The University of Virginia is a valued shareholder of the Company.
