2010 CGH-University Scholar Application
The University of Virginia's Center for Global Health has established the CGH -University Scholar Awards to encourage UVa students to design and carry out cross-disciplinary research and service projects in global health. Health issues can be approached from a broad range of disciplines including politics, biology, economics or foreign affairs. CGH scholar awards provide up to $3,000 to cover student travel, living, and project expenses. An additional $500 is provided for each of two faculty mentors.
A preliminary abstract is due to the Institutional Review Board by Tuesday 20 October 2009. Please see the schedule for submissions, interviews, notification and IRB/ISO deadlines here. The full proposal deadline for the CGH-University Scholar Award is Monday 9 November 2009.
