Healthy Communities: Healthy Food Systems-Global-Local Connections
Using case studies from throughout the world, as well as an optional study tour to Havana, Cuba, students will explore global health issues through the lens of community food systems. Thinking globally and acting locally, students will be challenged to extract specific lessons, applications and recommendations for the local Charlottesville region.
