The Center specializes in molecular mechanisms of nuclear transport, signal transduction, morphogenesis, cancer, and gene expression. Faculty are members of different home departments, including Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics, Internal Medicine and Microbiology. Students from any of the graduate programs at UVA can work for their PhD degree in our laboratories.
