General Description:
The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program offers a one year fellowship with the option for a second year to fellows who have completed a cardiovascular diseases fellowship. The fellowship provides extensive experience in all areas of electrophysiology and exposure to a wide variety of patients and arrhythmias.

You may apply online anytime (or see Application Info in the left-hand menu) for the two CCEP Fellowships which begin July 2011. The REVISED application deadline is October 30, 2009. Stipend & Benefit Information:
The stipend for Fellows is set annually by the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center and is based upon PGY status.Benefits include:
- 3 weeks of vacation annually, up to four weeks for leaves of absence

- Tax-Deferred Savings program through Fidelity, TIAA-CREF or Vanguard
- Discounted membership at 5 University intramural facilities
- On-site gym facilities
- National Meetings: (NASPE, ACC, AHA, etc.) Fellows may attend one national scientific meeting a year paid by the division. Such meetings do not count as vacation time.
