General Description:

The Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship Program offers a comprehensive two year training program to fellows who have completed a cardiovascular diseases fellowship.  The fellowship provides extensive experience in all areas of electrophysiology and exposure to a wide variety of patients and arrhythmias. 

Application Process:

You may apply online anytime for the two CCEP Fellowships beginning in July 2010.  The application deadline is April 1, 2009.  We will conduct interviews in May and June. Please contact the Cardiovascular Program Administrator, Cynthia Elledge-Volker, PhD  (cee2j@virginia.edu), with any questions.

Stipend & Benefit Information:

The stipend for Fellows is set annually by the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center and is based upon PGY status.

Benefits include:

  • 3 weeks of vacation annually, up to four weeks for leaves of absence
