Educational Programs and Information







Through the Breast Care Program, patients and their families are surrounded by a community of caring.

Breast cancer patients are guided through their journey with the valuable resources offered by the UVa Cancer Center staff.  Some of these programs include:  

Support groups 
Psychological and spiritual counseling
Tailored nutrition and exercise programs 
Programs to help deal with appearance-altering effects of treatment 
Guidance for discussing cancer with children
