Thoracic Oncology Clinical Trials
Thoracic cancer is cancer of any organ or tissue structure in the chest cavity, including cancer of the lung and cancer of the esophagus and includes both small and non-small-cell cancers. There are several known risk factors for lung cancer, including: cigarette smoking, exposure to a carcinogen, such as radon gas, asbestos, and talc dust.
