Calcium influx is a necessary component of the proliferative pathway in most types of cells. We are investigating this pathway with the intent of developing novel pharacological agents to inhibit cancer cell proliferation. A variety of techniques as used in this project including electrophysiological, pharmacological, and biochemical as well as rational drug design.
