Source:  A gift from the Mr. William Goodwin Family of up to $750,000 per year for up to eight years to the U.Va. Cancer Center.

Eligibility:  Any member of U.Va. faculty is eligible to apply for these funds.

Purpose:  Support early phase therapeutic cancer clinical trials or research that directly leads to or analyzes the results of such clinical trials. 

Submission Date:  An RFA is issued in October/November with a submission date in January.  The intent is to have the trial open when the funding becomes available in July.  Biostatistical and research design support are available.  The current RFA is due December 1, 2008.
