Eligibility: Limited to junior faculty at rank of Assistant Professor. Investigator cannot have a national award.
Purpose: Provide small pilot awards to help junior faculty begin a cancer pilot project. The awards have a cap of $30,000 and are limited to one year. Approximately 4-6 projects are funded each year.
Submission Dates: An RFA will be issued in early spring for a April 4th, 2008 deadline.
Review: The Principal Investigator of the ACS IRG, Timothy Bender and an interdisciplinary review committee conduct the review.
