UVA Cancer Center Tumor Boards

A tumor board is a multidisciplinary group of health care providers who meet to review diagnostic information and discuss treatment options for patients with cancer. The goal for UVa Cancer Center Tumor Boards is to provide multidisciplinary care for patients with an emphasis on new developments in treatment and participation in clinical trials.  Tumor boards also provide a forum to educate physicians, fellows, residents, nurses and other healthcare providers and to share relevant research findings.
