Dr. Angelique Reitsma is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Bioethics, continuing her collaboration with the University of Virginia Center for Biomedical Ethics on the issue of surgical innovation. Dr. Reitsma has published and lectured extensively on this subject, and on other areas in bioethics such as maternal-fetal surgery, human subject research and international aspects of bioethics.
Nick Helentjaris is a graduate student in the Department of Medical Ethics at the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently studying for a Master's of Bioethics degree and applying to medical schools in preparation for a career in medicine.
