    • introductory orientation and reception
    • faculty-student lunches
    • student Research-in-Progress dinners
    • Molecular Medicine seminar series to introduce students to translational research projects conducted by basic researcher and clinical scientist teams
    • annual Molecular Medicine Student Team-building Retreat.

  • An innovative integrated curriculum that provides a strong background in basic biomedical research disciplines such as cell biology, biochemistry, molecular biology and proteomics and exposure to a broad range of medically relevant disciplines such as pharmacology, physiology and pathology.  Journal clubs and colloquia in specialty areas, a wide range of basic and clinical science seminars, and clinical grand rounds are also available. Other opportunities to supplement basic science training activities include workshops to promote skills in translational research, including—

    • Patents/Intellectual Property
    • Research Ethics
