Welcome! The University of Virginia Molecular Medicine Graduate Program is located in the pastoral Piedmont region of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is nestled next to Thomas Jefferson's Academical Village. Our program offers you a classroom and cutting-edge, laboratory-based curriculum that will prepare you for an exciting future as a researcher.
What sets Molecular Medicine at UVa apart from other PhD-degree granting programs is our focus on the molecular basis of disease. Whether your interests are in cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, neurological disease, immunological disease, or any other, our faculty in the Molecular Medicine program are the leaders in their field and will train you in the latest biochemical, molecular, and cell biological approaches to help you move your career forward.
