CRNAs at the University of Virginia Health Science Center practice in a stimulating academic environment. As a Level I Trauma Center UVA offers state-of-the-art trauma, medical, surgical and burn treatment.
Approximately 21,000 anesthetics are administered per year.
UVA offers a wide variety of cases for CRNA practitioners.
UVA has 26 inpatient operating rooms, and 6 outpatient operating rooms. CRNAs provide services for most remote anesthesia locations (CT/MRI, Interventional Radiology, Lithotripsy,and Endoscopy).
