Nassima Ait-Daoud, MD

Dr. Ait-Daoud is Director of the University of Virginia Center for Addiction Research and Education (UVa C.A.R.E.) and has over a decade of hands-on experience in the field of addiction treatment. Her areas of expertise include assessing treatment, emergent events and conducting brief interventions. Dr. Ait-Daoud has also been instrumental in extensive clinical and laboratory research aimed at the pursuit of pharmacological and behavioral therapies for alcoholism and other drug dependencies. She is the co-author of close to 100 publications.
