Requirements for CIIC Service

  • Membership in the UVA Diabetes Center or approval by the CIIC director and executive committee of the Diabetes Center.
  • Currently funded research by investigators with active PTAO account in the UVA system.
  • Approved animal protocol (for selected services).
  • Advance notice of 3-4 business days to the CIIC director for cell/islet isolation or animal study work.
  • Full acknowledgment of the ICC (DK063609 Islet Core) when using the CIIC results for meeting/seminar presentations, grant applications, and publications is required and appreciated.
