Fortilin is a 172 amino-acid, nuclear-cytosol shuttle protein with potent apoptotic function. Dr. Fujise's laboratory has characterized the molecule for the last 11 years. This presentation summarizes the role of fortilin in cardiovascular diseases. - URL:
