Photoacoustic microscopy combines optics and ultrasound for label-free, high-resolution, and multi-parametric interrogation of anatomical, functional, and metabolic disease biomarkers at multiple temporal scales ranging from fast hemodynamics to chronic developmental processes. In this talk, I will present our recent progress on four-dimensional (time and three-dimensional space) monitoring of tumor responses to chemotherapy and on decrypting the hemodynamic signatures of ischemic tissue viability.

Taught by a Lactation Consultant, this class will give you a good overview about breastfeeding and how to get a good start in the hospital. We will discuss the basics of lactation, feeding patterns of newborns and identify ongoing support.
Fee: $10 includes take home book. Fee can be waived for those with financial need.
