- "Finding and Replicating Gene-by-Environment Effects in Cardiovascular Disease"
There are many risk factors for cardiovascular disease, some of which may interact with genetic variants to increase susceptibility for disease. I will discuss our work in performing genome-wide interaction studies for air pollution and chronic stress. I will try to convince you that we have replicated these associations, discuss the biological relevance of these findings and outline plans for functional studies. - URL:
