Andrew L. Lazris, MD, is a physician with the Personal Physician Care practice in Columbia, Maryland, specializing in mid-life and geriatric patients. Since completing his residency in internal medicine at the University of Virginia, Dr. Lazris has practiced both primary care and geriatric medicine, in office, long-term care and hospital settings. He is medical director for several long-term care facilities in Howard County, Maryland and vicinity. Erik Rifkin, PhD, is co-director of the Center for Contaminant Transport, Fate and Remediation, at Johns Hopkins University. One of his primary research interests is human health and ecological risks resulting from exposure to contaminants in environmental media.
