policy 0273 : Use of Medical Center Equipment for Non-Medical Center Functions

Medical Center Equipment may only be used for non-Medical Center functions pursuant to written contractual agreements between the Medical Center and a government agency, a private business, an individual or another hospital or health care provider. Such written agreements must be reviewed by the administrator of the appropriate office or department and approved by the Associate Vice President for Hospital and Clinics Operations of the Medical Center or designee, with the assistance of the Office of the University Counsel, to ensure compliance with legal requirements and consistency with relevant Medical Center policies.
