policy 0192 : Medical Treatment of Prisoners

The University of Virginia Medical Center is committed to serving the health care needs of all its patients, including prisoners of State and Federal Departments of Corrections, regional and local jails and detention facilities. This policy outlines procedures for providing for the safety of patients, visitors and employees when prisoners are receiving health care services at the Medical Center.
