policy 0070 : Patient Complaints and Grievances

The University of Virginia Medical Center is committed to responding promptly to all patient complaints, whether expressed by a patient, or the patient's legally authorized representative. Complaints and grievances shall be handled and resolved in a respectful, non-retaliatory manner and shall be managed in a manner consistent with applicable law, regulatory requirements and this Policy.
