protocol 1.135 : Pronation Therapy for the patient with severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)

The prone position is an adjunct supportive therapy to improve gas exchange in the critically ill patient with compromised lungs. Prolonged prone positioning is beneficial in the treatment of severe ARDS with early application demonstrating decrease in mortality
