Holy Days: Selected readings and explanations from five of the largest world religions
This booklet has been provided for use while in the Chapel of the University of Virginia Health System. The booklet contains information on five holy days from each of the five largest world religions; it is a way of respecting the religious diversity of those who come here for healing and care. The five largest world religions are listed alphabetically. Specific dates of selected holy days are omitted so that the resource will not become outdated over time. Current, specific holy days are identified on the wall plaque in the chapel. You can read about a specific holy day in the accompanying booklet.
