General Dermatology
UVa offers a full spectrum of medical and surgical skin care for patients of all ages, including assessment and treatment of pre-malignant and malignant skin lesions.

Mohs Micrographic Surgery
Surgeons use microscopic guidance to remove skin cancers which are difficult to treat by virtue of recurrence, location, tissue character, clinical behavior or size.

Facial Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery
A full spectrum of facial plastic surgery services are offered including cosmetic surgery of the face and neck; surgery repair after the removal of skin cancer, including Mohs surgery; repair of facial fractures and birth defects such as cleft lip and cleft palate. 

Surgical Oncology
Surgery for cancers of the breast, skin, gastrointestinal system, liver, pancreas as well as other locations of carcinoma. Active immunotherapy program for treatment of melanoma.
