resurfacing laser; and many reconstructive procedures.
UVA Hand Center
Complete medical and surgical intervention for injury and disorders of the hand, wrist and forearm, including carpal tunnel compression; nerve reconstruction; nerve grafting and nerve repair.
Burn and Wound Healing Center
UVa provides comprehensive treatment of thermal, chemical and electrical burn injuries, with an emphasis on returning the patient to both physical and emotion/social wellbeing.
Craniofacial Surgery
Comprehensive evaluation and treatment of all craniofacial anomalies, including cleft lip and palate deformities. Multidisciplinary team approach coordinates plastic surgery, speech therapy, orthodontic and pediatric genetic care.
Hyperbaric Medicine Service
UVa offers hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy to patients with conditions such as chronic wounds.
Laser Surgery Center
State-of-the-art treatment for spider veins, unwanted hair, birthmarks and aging skin.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
UVa provides a full range of maxillofacial surgery, including surgical treatment of congenital and developmental jaw deformities; jaw reconstruction; facial trauma; TMJ disorders; oral and jaw tumors; and cosmetic jaw surgery.
