About Virginia Society for Pathology |

The Virginia Society for Pathology holds two meetings per year, in the Spring and the Fall. Meetings are centered around presentations by invited speakers but also include meetings by the Board of Directors and the membership in attendance. Active members are actively licensed and engaged in the practice of pathology in Virginia. Junior members are graduates of medical school who are actively engaged in the study of pathology or in related medical research. Individuals who do not fulfill these criteria may be approved by the Board as associate members. The society approves Councelor members to the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and Delegates to the College of American Pathologists. The society is proud to have sponsored numerous distinguished speakers through its 60 year history.
