Welcome to the University of Virginia Office of Telemedicine!
We have completed 16,995 patient encounters as of January 13, 2010
The expertise of the health professionals of the University of Virginia Health System is now available to patients, physicians and other healthcare professionals via the University of Virginia Telemedicine Program. Using advanced computer applications and broadband telecommunications technologies, the Office of Telemedicine of the University of Virginia Health System regularly facilitates linkages between remotely located patients and health professionals throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia and beyond. Through the University of Virginia Telemedicine Network and other telecommunications networks, we provide confidential clinical consultative and medical education services. Visitors to our web site are encouraged to learn more about our current initiatives and the scope of our program.
We are located in Primary Care on the first floor of University Hospital, room 1516, the office is easily accessible to all the clinicians of our Health System.
