Prevention and Control of Subclinical Lymphedema and Associated Discomfort of the Breast and Chest Wall Following Breast Cancer Surgery and Treatment: A Pilot Study of the Compressure Comfort Bra®

The University of Virginia Health System Human Immune Therapy Center seeks both Women and Men who are having breast cancer surgery.
The purpose of this study is to see if the Compressure Comfort Bra® is helpful in minimizing the risk of swelling/lymphedema after breast cancer surgery.
Study Details:
This study will require 7 study visits over 12 months. All of these visits will coincide with your regularly scheduled care.
You will have measurements and photographs taken of your arms and chest. You will also be asked to complete some survey questionnaires.
Compensation:
You will receive the Compressure Comfort Bra® at no cost to you or your insurance.
