Virginia's Guide By Your Side (GBYS) connects parents who have an infant or young child recently diagnosed with a hearing loss with an "experienced" parent who is raising a child who is deaf or hard of hearing. Our mission is to provide emotional support and unbiased information to families of children who are deaf or hard of hearing through screened and trained Family Guides (experienced parents of children who are deaf or hard of hearing).
